In his keynote at the Southeast Asia Development Symposium on 21 October 2020, Khailee Ng, Managing Partner at Silicon Valley-based venture capital firm 500 Startups, noted that technology has enabled the public and the private sectors to work together to invent new ways to serve people.

He cited several examples in Indonesia how technology has made it possible to cope with the disruptions caused by the pandemic.
