Since the outbreak of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) 2 years ago, ASEAN+3 countries have been fighting to protect the health of their populations while minimizing the impact of the crisis on their economies.

The region appears to be finally gaining some ground this year and can look forward to a strong economic recovery. But new risks have emerged, including the war in Ukraine.

This report looks at the region's economic outlook for 2022 and assesses risks facing countries.
