The Global Centre of Excellence for Innovation aims to showcase the breakthroughs Save the Children has made in delivering positive impact at scale for children, said Inger Ashing at the hub's launch during the Southeast Asia Development Symposium (SEADS) 2021.

She said the organization is also doubling down on its investments in innovation in keeping with the launch of the hub.

Through the center, Save the Children will share with stakeholders the tested innovations, products, and business models they have designed and developed over the years to protect children.

Save the Children has a footprint in 120 countries.

SEADS aims to help crystallize thinking on relevant and critical issues in the region, and support countries in becoming prosperous, knowledge-based, and sustainable.

SEADS 2021, Innovation through Collaboration: Planning for an Inclusive Post-COVID-19 Recovery, was held on 17–18 March.
