This webinar will examine how vehicle-to-grid technology can turn electric vehicles from a source of demand on the power system into a source of supply.
Power systems across Asia and the Pacific plan for electric vehicles as new demand to be met. What changes when those same vehicles can send electricity back?
The session will examine the enabling technologies, regulatory and market requirements, and business models that vehicle-to-grid (V2G) deployment depends on.
Discussions will draw on practical experience from within the region and beyond to identify where V2G can be applied first and what conditions need to be in place. Participants will gain insights into how V2G improves grid flexibility, supports renewable energy integration, and strengthens energy security and system resilience.
For Southeast Asia, where electric vehicle uptake is rising and many countries are making major decisions on grid investment and renewable energy targets, vehicle-to-grid offers a way to get more from spending already planned.
