The COVID-19 pandemic has led to the rise of the "‘digital nomads"—individuals and professionals with the ability to work online and remotely—further expanding the possibilities of global talent mobility. 

However, attracting and retaining global talent has become increasingly competitive, making it essential for Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) to enhance their efforts to attract and retain top talents.

This brief explores approaches taken by ASEAN countries to attract and retain global talent and digital nomads.
