
Indonesian President Joko Widodo said the future of his country's economy lies in the hands of its young entrepreneurs. More than a third of Indonesian youth say they aspire to become entrepreneurs—a ratio higher than in any other country in the region. However, there is a wide gap between wanting to become an entrepreneur and becoming a successful one.
This publication examines entrepreneurship development models and incubation centers designed for the youth in Indonesia and comes up with recommendations to bolster training programs for entrepreneurs.
