Asia and the Pacific saw international tourist arrivals plummet more than 80% year on year in 2020. With border restrictions still in place for much of 2021, the outlook remains daunting.
This brief examines how vaccine passes, a digital or hard copy pass that documents receipt of a particular vaccination, could support cross-border travel and help revive the tourism sector.
