The pandemic continues to roil economies in developing Asia as governments struggle to cope with renewed outbreaks amid uneven progress on vaccination.

The region’s output is forecast to expand by 7.1% in 2021 and 5.4% in 2022, supported by a broad recovery in exports.

The report projects uneven recovery caused by divergent growth paths.
