This report provides an overview of ADB’s engagement with civil society organizations in 2024. It outlines key policy initiatives and work in strategic focus areas.
In 2024, ADB adopted a new operational approach to enhancing engagement with civil society organizations (CSOs) to support development in Asia and the Pacific.
The report unpacks how this approach targets (i) increased meaningful civil society engagement in ADB’s work; (ii) strengthened knowledge-sharing and dialogue among developing member countries, the private sector, ADB, and civil society; and (iii) enhanced ADB support for civil society engagement in accountability and transparency initiatives.
