Strengthening Cybersecurity and Resilience of Digital Infrastructure with the Cloud
Organizers: Amazon Web Services, Economic Research Institute for ASEAN and East Asia, and the Asian Development Bank
Date and time
As countries embrace the digital economy, the importance of being alert to cyber threats has risen accordingly. Data provider Statista predicts the global cost of cybercrime will increase to $13.82 trillion by 2028 from $9.22 trillion in 2024.
The webinar will explore what good cybersecurity policy looks like and how the security and resilience of the cloud can improve outcomes for critical infrastructure entities. It will examine the roles and responsibilities of different players in the digital ecosystem in bolstering cybersecurity. The webinar will also feature a real-life use-case demonstration of how critical information infrastructure providers can improve security using cloud technologies. The event will be held to mark the Cybersecurity Awareness Month.
The webinar is part of the Digital Policy Webinar Series organized by Amazon Web Services (AWS), the Economic Research Institute for ASEAN and East Asia (ERIA), and the Asian Development Bank (ADB). This webinar series brings together policymakers, regulators, think tanks, academia, industry, and other key stakeholders to explore how emerging technologies and forward-thinking, pro-innovation digital policies can accelerate the digital transformation journey of nations.
