This webinar will examine how multi-hazard datasets, traffic modelling, and accessibility diagnostics can support resilience-focused road investment planning.

Climate and disaster risks are disrupting road connectivity across Asia and the Pacific. How can governments identify the most critical road corridors before the next disaster strikes?

This webinar will examine how multi-hazard datasets, rapid traffic modelling, and accessibility diagnostics can support resilience-focused road investment planning. Drawing on ADB-supported studies in Pakistan, Papua New Guinea, and Tajikistan, the session will demonstrate how network-level analytics can identify exposure hotspots, single points of failure, and priority corridors for action.

The session is part of the Green Roads Webinar Series, which examines the nature-positive benefits of green roads, highlighting their cross-cutting contributions to decarbonization, climate resilience, water management, biodiversity, disaster risk reduction, construction materials, and inclusive growth.
