Sandeep Malhotra is an avid business technologist with more than 25 years of global experience delivering strategic technology and business solutions at Mastercard. In his current position as head of the Products & Innovation group, he oversees the development and management of all consumer and commercial products in the Asia–Pacific region. These span debit, credit, prepaid, commercial, payments gateway and processing to acceptance, account-to-account flows, remittances, open banking, digital platforms, and everything in between.

Based in Singapore since 2019, he is a regular speaker at high-profile business and industry forums and an experienced media commentator on topics ranging from digital commerce to open banking, digital currencies, and the future of money and payments. He holds a Bachelor of Science from the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur, Master of Science from University of Missouri-Rolla, and a Master of Business Administration from Washington University in St. Louis.
