Climate change is happening more rapidly than scientists have predicted. Asian countries, with their low-lying and crowded coastal cities, are and will continue to be among the hardest hit by the impacts of the increasingly frequent and impactful weather disasters.

Building up to COP27, the Race to Resilience Asia event series, organized by Arup in partnership with the world's leading organizations, will bring together decision markers, thought leaders, multidisciplinary experts, and movers and shakers across Asia in a call for action to fight climate change and build resilience for future generations.

From energy and water to transport and inclusive design, the event will take a city systems approach to look at this urgent global challenge from a regional perspective and elaborate local insights and solutions. Participating cities include Ho Chi Minh City; Hong Kong, China; Jakarta; Kuala Lumpur; Manila; and Singapore.
