The emergence of new technologies have unlocked more smart tools for solving development problems. Unmanned aerial systems, like drones, are among these new technologies.
This paper looks at how unmanned aerial systems are helping address challenges in the energy sector. It also presents successful applications in selected countries where such systems serve as a cost-effective and safe tool for inspection and data collection.
