Overcoming COVID-19: From Adversity to Opportunity
While all ASEAN members struggle to address the myriad challenges that the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) has brought, countries recognized the need for stronger regional cooperation to promote a more resilient, prosperous, and sustainable future.
Many pre-existing trends have been accelerated, like the adoption of the digital economy and the green economy. Policymakers also see the opportunity to promote new strategies of cooperation and planning.
The Economic Research Institute for ASEAN and East Asia (ERIA) is bringing together ASEAN scholars and experts to give their insights on how ASEAN countries can revive their economies.
The webinar is part of ERIA's Editors’ Roundtable series. Online news platform, The Scoop, Brunei Darussalam, is co-hosting the webinar.
