The 2030 Sustainable Development Goals and the Paris Agreement on climate change provide robust frameworks for advancing sustainable COVID-19 recovery in Asia and the Pacific. 

However, increasing fiscal challenges threaten to undermine their potential to promote green investment and growth.

This policy dialogue organized by the Asian Development Bank Institute (ADBI), Indonesia Ministry of Finance, and University of Indonesia will examine COVID-19 era fiscal instruments and green development in Asia and the Pacific. The focus will be on emerging sustainable finance opportunities, fiscal hurdles, and policy solutions.
